Meditation Retreats

Whether you are a beginning or experienced meditator, taking a retreat can help to refresh and deepen your practice.

Sarah organizes and runs several day-long and half-day retreats though-out the year.

These silent in-person retreats are held at venues in both Canberra and on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.

Retreats are focused around a theme to help participants deepen their meditation practice, and typically involve periods of instruction, guided sitting meditations, gentle mindful movement flows, walking meditations, and time to ask questions about meditation and your practice.

A nurturing vegetarian lunch is included and tea and coffee facilities will be available.

In 2021, Sarah will be running retreats focused around the following themes:

Benefits of Taking a Meditation Retreat

Taking a meditation retreat allows you to create space and time away from everyday distractions. Spending a day in silent meditation and reflection can help to quiet the mind and allow you to drop deeper into embodied presence.

You may find you’re able to access a level of self-awareness that isn’t always present in the business of an ordinary week.

Benefits of taking a mindfulness meditation retreat may include:

“There is something wonderfully bold and liberating about saying yes to our entire imperfect and messy life.”
